Sweet!

Ok, after much nagging from the girlfriend I have to write something.
The appartment is going really well… The hall is painted, and we’ve ordered paint and stuff for my room, and we’re gonna paint everything on friday/saturday. Then it’s just the floor… then I can finally start putting som furniture in there. Awesome.

Another good news is, that Titan is gonna rehearse today with Fredde, the new singer. It’s gonna be great fun to see him again, and to hear him growl his guts out. We got a pretty good song already, and we’ll probably finish another one tonight, if everything goes well.

Hey…

The last couple of days have been pretty nice. We rehearsed with the whole band (Grime) for the first time in several months, and we wrote a new really kickass song. And I’ve been really creative too… I made a new homepage for Abyss Labs and Grime, and a new cover for Grime’s demo. Work has been good too this week. And I’ve decided that on Friday, I’m gonna order all furniture for the appartment. Kickass… And I’m really looking forward to the Unholy Alliance-concert that’s gonna be held here in Malmoe. Slayer, Lamb of God, In Flames and other bands… For the price of like 1½ concert! Until next time… Stay true, stay metal!

Enter the hunt (for new furniture)

Yesterday I was at a IKEA, to find me some furniture for the new appartment. It all went pretty good… I’ve managed to decide what colors I want to use, and I found two most important things that I need. The bed and a sofa… And my mom actually helped me with a problem. I got no room for a dinner table, so where should we sit and eat, when I have people over? Well, you’ll have to wait for the picture, sometime next month or so. Don’t wanna ruin it by explaining, because it’s alot cooler than it sounds.

Tomorrow I’m heading to back to my old regemente, where I did military service. They got this annual “festival”, with shows and tour guides and stuff… and it’s an excellent opporunity to meet old friends. I’m really looking forward to it, it’s gonna be great fun to meet everybody again. Oh, and I’ve also decided to continue in the military. Me, and some friends are applying for “Hemvärnet” (Voluntaree kind-of division). And I’ve applied for AMFOB, the amphibian forces, as recon, to be shipped to some foreign country. Fun fun fun!

Summer’s back

It’s insane! It’s like 25 degrees Celsius outside, like in the middle of July. We really should take care of our enviroment, cause this is not good. Vote Green!

Firefox + WordPress?

Anyone know of a good extension for sending new posts to wordpress? I found DeepSender, but it had problems logging in. I’ll try to fix it… But if anyone uses a better extension, please let me now!

I know about the mini gadget-thingie that you can open in Firefox’s sidebar found here, but I’d like to be able to access the more advanced functions, like making links and stuff.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got DeepSender up ‘n running. And just then I found Performancing, which even let’s me edit posts. Sweet!

Hello world!

Welcome to my first ever blog. This is just basically a warmup for me…
Soon enough I’m gonna move over to the blog at abyss.nu, as soon as we get it running.

I’m busy with school, a new band, and the whole series of projects that me and Nicke is working on. Really happy that I got stuff that’s keeping me motivating myself to be creative.

The new band, at the moment named Titan, is something that’s really gets me exciting. This shit got some true potential.
My old band Hatelight has split up, and I started talking to Dan about forming a new band, and he was very interested. So I talked with the drummer in my current and only band, Grime, about it. And he accepted the invite. Great. So we got two guitars and a drummer. Excellent start. But we knew we needed a singer as soon as possible. So out of the blue, when I was at the bank getting a new Visa-card (since I lost the old one), a good old friend of mine, an ex-Promethean just like me, walked in to the bank. He needed to get a new Visa-card. Heh.
I talked to him about it, and hell yeah, he was so on. So now we got two guitars, a drummer AND a excellent singer. Extremely excellent start.

More good news…
I’ve finally gotten myself a appartment! A small 30 squaremeters one roomer, just outside Malmoe Centrum. And it got 10Mbit fibre! Me like bigtime.
Gonna setup myself a BF2 PRMM server, and also run some servers for abyss.nu. Probably a torrenttracker. But that’s future plans…
I’m pondering alot how I’m gonna decorate it… I really enjoy customizing and designing appartments, but I usually don’t have the money for it. And I’m really lazy. I asked my girlfriend to paint me a really big picture, like 2×2 meters, to hang on the wall. Waiting eagerly to see some sketches from her.

Hmm, think that’s it for now. Damn long for the first post.

PS. Gnnh, is wordpress always this painfully slow? Waiting for 15+ secs for a webpage to load? Crap.
